Movement is for everyone.

Our Mission

We provide free and low-cost adapted movement classes for individuals who face physical, mental, or emotional barriers to joining traditional wellness spaces.

Through thoughtfully adapted programming, we meet students where they are, honoring diverse bodies, abilities, and lived experiences.

We also train and support wellness teachers in creating their own inclusive class offerings, fostering connection, resilience, and a sense of belonging for all students.

What We Do

In-Person Classes

We take a collaborative approach to our recurring class offerings, bringing adapted movement directly into spaces where our students already gather. Partner organizations include community centers, seniors housing, supportive housing, recovery centers, support groups, and more.

On-Demand Classes

We understand that life sometimes gets in the way of attending in-person classes, so we are building an online class library of accessible movement practices. These classes are a perfect way to tend to your physical, mental, and emotional well-being from the comfort of home.

Teacher Training

We offer continuing education for movement teachers who want to make their classes more inclusive and accessible. We currently offer in-person workshops and are building online options. We also collaborate with movement schools to ensure training programs set new grad teachers up to be welcoming and supportive of all types of students.

Special Events

We curate Movement with Meaning classes for community members interested in supporting our mission. You receive a perfectly tailored experience for your group, and every dollar raised goes directly to the Accessible Movement Project. Our teachers are skilled in multiple movement disciplines - what can we create for your next special gathering?

A community that excludes even one of its members is no community at all.
